Michelle is a Trinidadian born Interior Designer, who has over 25 years of design experience in both Canada and the Caribbean. She was at the forefront of establishing Interior Design as a professional service in Barbados. When Michelle is not involved in music in some form, she is avidly heading the Interior Design team here at GSA.

 

Coming from a Trinidadian childhood that was colorful and creative, Michelle pursued studies in design and graduated from Ryerson, Toronto, Canada, with her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Along with GSA, Michelle established one of the first full-service Interior Design practices in Barbados focusing on large commercial interiors. Over the years she carried a large number of contract/commercial, civic and hospitality interiors to successful fruition. Michelle is also an advocate for sustainable design and achieved her LEED Green Associate designation in 2012.

 

Michelle’s goals are not only to continue to expand her knowledge in the industry but to mentor new leadership for the continued growth and development of GSA.
