Alistair Kirkwood

Having spent his formative years in Sault Ste Marie, Alistair developed a passion for the wilderness of the Canadian North and the vast shores of Lake Superior.

While at high school drafting classes, Alistair was inspired to pursue a career in Architecture and relocated to Toronto to fulfil his dream of becoming an Architect.
​
In 1998, Alistair achieved his Bachelor of Architecture Degree at the University of Toronto. Soon after graduation he joined a respected firm and was an integral team member for over 20 years developing mid and high rise residential buildings in the greater Toronto Area. Alistair takes pride in his core values of hard work, loyalty and honesty both professionally and personally.

In 2018, in partnership with GSA Barbados, Alistair, a registered architect with the OAA, founded GSA Studio in Toronto . In order to be successful, Alistair believes one must be willing to grow and learn from others. He looks forward to collaborating with GSA in Barbados and working with clients both in Toronto and the Caribbean.
