Nathan is a creative with a love for architecture, graphic design and photography. He achieved his Associate Degree in Architecture at the Barbados Community College (BCC) in 2024 and joined the GSA team soon after. With a close attention to detail, and a passion for sustainable design, Nathan is eager to learn and take on new challenges.

 

Hosted during the Technical Vocational and Educational Training Council's (TVET) Annual Design and Construction Conference in 2024, Nathan and his peers were awarded First Place in the student design competition titled, 'Micro Living Solutions'. Inspired by the modularity, adaptability and symmetry seen in the design of Barbados' traditional chattel house, the project focused on creating practical, sustainable solutions for small scale housing developments.

 

Passionate for the impact design has on shaping emotions, influencing behaviours and contributing to social change, Nathan looks forward to developing his career through the creation of positive space.
