Laura A McClean
Director, Registered Architect, LEED Green Associate
Born in Gloucester, England, Laura was raised in Barbados where her love of the island and design began. She gained her MArch at the Technical University of Nova Scotia In Canada and worked in Halifax, Nova Scotia and London, UK before returning to Barbados.
With over 20 years of experience in the industry she has worked on a variety of commercial, residential and institutional projects. As a member of the Barbados Institute of Architects, she has served on various committees and on the council of the BIA and has assisted in tutoring the Architectural Studies course at the Barbados Community College. In 2004 she was registered by the Barbados Architects Registration Board. Laura gained her LEED Green Associate accreditation in 2015.
Laura loves to solve problems and help in anyway possible to achieve positive results for her clients. She believes that challenges in life and architecture can be overcome with the right attitude, knowledge and perseverance and balances her busy work schedule and with dance and other social activities.
