Own • This stunning and very private villa sits on the exclusive Calijanda Estate Ridge with breathtaking Caribbean Sea views and a constant cooling breeze. As soon as the electric security gates open to reveal the attractive elevations of Sea Breeze with a marble floored porte-cochère entrance, you know you have arrived somewhere very special.

We created large openings within the existing structure to let in an abundance of natural light and repointed the coral stone walls. The original walls were actually plastered, hiding the raw beauty of the coral stone beneath.

A glass railing and tropical wood floors completes the vision.

An exciting weekend spent at the cricket Mecca of the Caribbean - Kensington Oval, Barbados.

GSA’s involvement in the Kensington Oval project brought this master plan concept - designed by Arup Associates - to life by converting the grounds from a collection of stands to a true stadium. Local and international consultants were divided into teams and GSA was responsible for the extensive coordination of external works for the various buildings, which included but was not limited:

. Siting buildings in relation to one another
. Electricity and power
. Foul water strategy
. Gas strategy
. Storm water strategy
. Potable and boosted water inner ring strategy
. Site drainage
. Emergency exit lighting and paths of travel for the varied event types
. External lighting
. Sound system
. Guidelines for TV camera placement
. Irrigation of the field and pitch
